Faculty Details

The formal and ongoing work of a teacher normally takes place in a school or another type of formal educational setting. In many nations, those who want to become teachers must first get the necessary professional certifications from a college or university. These credentials could entail studying pedagogy, the science of instruction, and ongoing professional growth. Lesson plans, which are sometimes known as the curriculum, are a tool that teachers can use to direct the learning of their students.

Depending on the culture and region, a teacher’s job may change. Teachers may instruct students in literacy and numeracy, craftwork or vocational training, the arts, religion, civics, community responsibilities, or life skills.

Beyond formal instruction, teachers may also be responsible for chaperoning students on field trips, supervising study halls, assisting with event planning for the school, and managing extracurricular activities. In some educational institutions, teachers may also be in charge of maintaining order among the students.

Teachers are often observed internally and are expected to have specialised knowledge, education, and codes of ethics. There are 300 employees total at Sree Vivekananda School, including highly qualified and experienced teachers and well-trained non-teaching personnel.
